VOLUNTEER 2018-Present | MUSEUM AT KEEWAYDIN, KENNEWICK

• Led initiatives to promote the museum through exhibits, events, and partnerships. 

• Helped seek out grants, craft proposals, and fulfill requirements to meet grant obligations.

• Effectively researched and implemented new tech tools for archiving and growing public engagement. 

• Secured media partnerships with local news outlets for articles and interviews.

• Recruited and sought qualified candidates for the administrator position, as well as other volunteer tasks.

• Interacted with the public as a tour guide, guest lecturer, and museum mascot at local and regional events (examples include: Salmon Summit, Pacific Northwest Regional Historians Guild Conference, etc.).

• Assisted diverse team in sorting, collecting, and distributing food to disadvantaged community members.

• Coordinated welcome-in and check-out support at the facility, providing Spanish translation support as needed.

• Volunteered as weekly kitchen server, food box distributor, and occasional chapel speaker.
